We are honoured to have been recognised over the years by receiving accolades on local, national and international levels.
FinTrU picked up the Diversity & Inclusion award while CEO Darragh McCarthy was honoured as the Business Personality of the Year at the Business Eye Awards. The company was also recognised as a whole with a Highly Commended award for Employer of the Year.

Hosted in the dramatic setting of the Titanic Belfast, FinTrU celebrated Tech success at The Belfast Chamber Business Awards 2024. FinTrU picked up the award for Technology Business, the top accolade for the company which has demonstrated innovation and entrepreneurship in the Technology field.
The Investors in Mental Health Award is an initiative developed by AWARE NI – the depression charity for Northern Ireland. The award recognises schools, businesses, organisations, and community groups that are making a significant contribution to the promotion of positive mental health.
FinTrU will now go on to the UK-wide British Chamber Business Awards to represent Northern Ireland in this category.

In June 2024, FinTrU won the 'Educational Partnership Award' and 'Large Business of the Year' at the 2024 North West Business Awards

In March 2024, FinTrU was named in the Financial Times' report of the 1000 fastest growing companies in Europe. This was the third time in the eight-year history of the annual report that FinTrU placed on the list.

In December, we were honoured to pick up awards for both Company of the Year and Employer of the Year at the Business Awards. It also marked a hat-trick of results with this being the third year in succession that FinTrU was awarded Company of the Year.

The Belfast Chamber Business Awards celebrates the ongoing success of the city's business community. In October 2023, we were extremely proud to be recognised with two awards: Best Large Business to Work For and Diversity and Inclusion.
The Sunday Times has named FinTrU in its list of Britain's 100 fastest-growing companies. The list celebrates and applauds Britain's 100 leading entrepreneurial business, shining a light on the people leading these private companies.
FinTrU placed 78th in the list and is also the only Northern Ireland headquartered company to feature.
We were honoured to pick up awards for Contribution to the North West Economy and North West Business of the Year at the North West Business Awards on 9 June.
It was a wonderful night at the City Hotel Derry to celebrate the many successes of industry in the the North West region.
On Thursday 8 June, at a packed Titanic Belfast, we picked up the Best Company To Work For award at The Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards.
This was the second year in a row that we have received this accolade, with the judging panel noting Febulous (a month of health and wellbeing activities across the company) and creating a sense of camaraderie and teamwork as contributing factors.
We were thrilled to pick up the award for Workplace of the Year Digital DNA Awards in April.
Along with high commendation for Large Tech Company of the Year we were also delighted to receive the same commendation for our Chief Technology Officer Emma Pollock for Business Personality of the Year.

The Business Eye Awards are always a prestigious event and it was a huge accolade to be recognised as Company of the Year for the second year in succession.
A double win at the Belfast Chamber Business Awards as we picked up the Business Success award and Best Company to Work For award.
It was a night of double celebration at Titanic Belfast as FinTrU took home two awards: Best Employee Development Programme and Best Place to Work.
We were recognised as Large Business of the Year at the 2022 North West Business Awards. The Awards recognise the work of the diverse and innovative businesses and individuals across the North West, making it a particularly prestigious accolade for any award recipient.
For the second year in a row, FinTrU was announced as one of Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies by the Financial Times. The Financial Times, in partnership with Statista, sought to identify the 1,000 European companies with the strongest growth between 2017 and 2020 to feature in their annual FT1000 Europe's Fastest Growing Companies League Table.
We were honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise (International Trade) in 2022 for ‘Outstanding Continuous Growth’ in overseas sales over the last six years.
In June 2021, we were awarded the Silver Diversity Mark for our continued commitment to diversity and inclusion.
The Diversity Mark is awarded to companies following an independent assessment process which ensures they have reached the required standard of commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion. FinTrU is one of seven organisations in Northern Ireland to have been awarded the Silver Diversity Mark out of 90 organisations.
In December 2020, we were named in The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 as the 42nd fastest-growing company across the whole of the UK. The league table features the UK’s 100 private companies with the fastest growth over the last three years.

We saw off stiff competition from some of Northern Ireland's best companies to be awarded The Company Of The Year at the 2021 Business Eye Awards. To be recognised for any award is always a huge compliment, but taking home top honours for Company Of The Year was an honour that can be shared by every one of FinTrU's employees.
One of only five categories at 2021's Chamber Business Awards, The Global Player category winner is defined as:
“A business that has demonstrated significant and sustained growth internationally through harnessing the opportunity of overseas markets, proving that exporting can power business growth.”
We picked up the prize in what was a huge recognition of the hard work and commitment shown throughout the company. As the company continues to grow globally, the award was seen as a public testimonial as to how FinTrU continues to inspire global trust in tomorrow.
In October 2021, we won the Business Success award for the third year in a row.
Head of Business Banking Belfast at Bank of Ireland UK [the event’s sponsor] Paul McClurg said: “Despite the most challenging trading period in recent history, Belfast businesses have once again shown their resilience and have created some exceptional results under extreme pressure."
The Digital DNA awards are widely regarded as the No.1 Awards for companies and individuals working within the fast growing and highly competitive tech industry in Northern Ireland.
