Diversity & Inclusion and Business Personality recognition for FinTrU
A week after receiving the award for best Technology Business at the Belfast Chamber Business Awards, FinTrU is celebrating success again.
Held at the ICC Belfast on Thursday 24th October, FinTrU won the Diversity & Inclusion award while CEO Darragh McCarthy was honoured as the Business Personality of the Year at the Business Eye Awards.
A key contributing factor to FinTrU's Diversity & Inclusion award was the great work being carried out by its cultural committees. Women In Finance, TrU Colours, TrU Ability, TrUly Diverse, and its Charity committees are run by FinTrU employees dedicated to raising awareness of important issues and organising fundraising activities throughout the year.
Business Personality is the keynote award which honours Northern Ireland’s outstanding business personality over the past 12 months, an individual whose 'leadership achievements have contributed to business success and to the wider local economy'.
Commenting on receiving this accolade, Darragh said: "It is a huge honour to have been recognised with this award but it really is collective recognition for all of us at FinTrU. I continue to be immensely proud and privileged to be working for such a fantastic team, who live our company values everyday, while contributing to our business success."
There was further success for the whole company with FinTrU receiving a Highly Commended award for Employer of the Year.
