FinTrU and ATU Donegal – two years of partnership

Having announced the opening of its Letterkenny office in July last year, FinTrU has continued to enjoy a thriving partnership with ATU Donegal. The announcement in 2022 of the establishment of a European Delivery Centre in Letterkenny and the creation of 300 jobs over the next five years is in full swing, with many new FinTrU employees having graduated from ATU.

FinTrU Letterkenny site lead, Sylvester Clancy, said: "Forming strong ties with the local community and creating shared value within the region is a huge part of the FinTrU company ethos. As FinTrU continues its journey in the region we continue to celebrate our partnership with ATU Donegal and look forward to more success, both on and off the pitch."

There have been some big and diverse wins for ATU Sports in the last year, from the Ladies Gaelic Football side winning the Higher Education LGFA double (division 3 league and the Lynch Cup) to gold and silver medals won at the Olympic Weightlifting InterVarsity Championships.

ATU Donegal Head of Sports, Michael Murphy, said: "We’re delighted to be continuing our partnership with FinTrU for a second year. Sports are a huge part of ATU Donegal life, and the interest from our students grows every year, with a huge variety of sporting options available.”
