FinTrU, a technologically enabled regulatory solutions company, has been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise (International Trade) in 2022.
The company won the Queen’s Award for International Trade for ‘Outstanding Continuous Growth’ in overseas sales over the last six years. Headquartered in Belfast, FinTrU has rapidly expanded in recent years with additional global offices in Derry/Londonderry, New York, London, Dublin, Maastricht and Porto.
On Tuesday 6 December, FinTrU’s Executive Committee hosted His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant, Dame Fionnuala Jay O’Boyle, DBE DStJ, Mr Richard Jay BEM, Air Cadet Flight Sgt Bertie Turkington and Deputy Lieutenant, Ann McGregor at Meter House in Belfast.
Whilst presenting the award, His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant commented that the QAE presented to FinTrU is the only company in Belfast this year (in any category), and the first one for International Trade that she has ever presented since she became HMLL in 2014.

Employing over 1,100 people, FinTrU was founded in 2013 and provides technologically enabled Regulatory Solutions for Investment Banks – specialising in the areas of KYC, Compliance, Legal, Risk & Controls and Operations.

Now in its 56th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the country, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
