Our values don’t just live on the wall

From investing in our people through continuous learning opportunities to our fundraising efforts, the unwavering dedication to our clients, or our engagement with the sports and cultural activities of our communities, we embody these values every day—they are more than just words on a wall.

Our strong sense of inclusion and togetherness helps nurture job satisfaction and success. Additionally, our various groups, ranging from mountain climbers to book enthusiasts, offer a broad network for social events and company-wide networking. Working environment

A workplace is more than just an office - it's an environment that should be comfortable and enjoyable. That's why we've invested in our sites to create modern, desirable office spaces.

With plants, art, pool tables, complimentary fruit, tea and coffee, breakout areas, energy-efficient lighting, and contemporary décor, the FinTrU estate is designed to make the work environment as pleasant as it is efficient.

Financial Analyst Enrí is based at our Letterkenny office. He talks through his FinTrU experience since joining the company:

What attracted you to FinTrU?

What I saw first was the open culture and its commitment to diversity through its committees. It was also the chance to work in financial crime in my local area, which was an opportunity I didn’t want to miss  -  financial crime was one of my biggest interests at university.

.

What do you enjoy about the day-to-day work?

The people make the job. Everyone is open minded and friendly - very easy to talk to. Then there are the learning opportunities through exams and courses. There is always an opportunity to learn, even if it’s not part of your day-to-day work. The Learning & Development team have so many different avenues available to strengthen your skills and knowledge which also gives you the opportunity to transition into different projects.

Your highlights so far?

My personal and professional development has been the highlight of working at FinTrU. Plus, working locally, it’s very good for networking professionally and socially. Managers are all for pushing you out of your comfort zone and this has really built my confidence and skills in different areas too.

Can you sum it up in three words?

Educational, inspiring and gratifying.

Olá Porto

Portugal’s second city is also home to FinTrU’s Porto office. Each year the cohorts from our Graduate Programme spend a few days in the city as part of their initial training.

While our high standard of training continues in the city, the stay with our Portuguese colleagues is a fantastic way to forge strong bonds with your new colleagues. You will also get to visit some of the amazing locations around the city and experience the vibrant nightlife. Oh, and there’s the weather too.
